Distantly is an extension of my quest for the meaning in the healthy food idea and its connection to my willingness to intervene to my beloved ones who live far away. I started to consider my relationship with food, when my father got sick. As an attempt to heal him, the idea of eating healthily turned into a tool I put pressure on people. Portions and staged eating spaces project feelings onto the food in an attempt to preserve the future, and therefore create a constant dichotomy between the real and the fake.
